Burleigh head National park is a great attraction for those who enjoy the outdoors. The park has many trails and walks through the rainforest and the rocky foreshow. Do some of the walks in spring and you may be lucky enough to see beautiful whales gliding along the coast. The two best trails are the Oceanview Walk and the Rainforest circuit. Visiting the Burleigh markets on the weekends is a great way to meet some of the locals and get a feel for the regions aspiring entrepreneurs and their creative businesses.
